The Path to Kindergarten

Discover The World Children’s Center will have an ongoing partnership with local public school districts to ensure our program will help five-year-old children successfully transition from preschool to kindergarten.

Our preschool program will help your child master important kindergarten-readiness skills, including:

  • Scientific thinking and investigation skills
  • Self-reliance
  • Fine and gross motor skills
  • Mathematical concepts and reasoning
  • Social emotional skills
  • Independence
  • Creativity ( music, story time, art dramatic play, etc.)
  • Developing reading and writing skills
  • Reasoning
We want every day to be a great day for your child. Our caring and knowledgeable teachers create activities that combine both learning and fun. Our curriculum is theme based. As children develop their skills and self confidence, our teachers introduce more complex topics. These themes prompt discussion about the world and do so in an enthusiastic environment.
